San Antonio’s Premiere Women’s Lifestyle Magazine Takes Top Awards At 2005 Women’s Regional Publications Of America Conference

SAN ANTONIO WOMAN was recently awarded the highly coveted Magazine Of The Year and nine additional top awards at the recent 2005 Women’s Regional Publications Of America (WRPA) conference, held here in the Alamo city. The magazine also garnered Gold awards for Best Editorial, Best Overall Excellence In Design, Best Women’s Fashion Coverage, and Best Overall Community Outreach.

“SAN ANTONIO WOMAN is not only a home town favorite but is honored to receive national recognition with these wonderful honors,” said publisher J. Michael Gaffney.

The Women’s Regional Publications of America also honored SAN ANTONIO WOMAN top awards in the following categories:

– Best Magazine Cover

– Best Client Ad Produced In House

– Best Mixed Media Campaign

– Best Color Reproduction

– Best Consumer Promotion

The Women’s Regional Publications Of America (WRPA) was established in 1985 and is comprised of women-focused news and lifestyle publications from around the country that educate the general public about women-owned businesses, and showcases the visibility, authority, influence and status of contributions made by women.  Markets represented in WRPA include Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
