New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2016 is in full swing and all eyes are looking to designers to let us in on what we will be wearing come next fall. The splashy runway shows that fill the front rows with celebrities and fashion enthusiasts are once again aplenty. However, many designers are opting to show their collections in more intimate settings.Diane Von Furstenberg revealed her F/W line in her Meatpacking District headquarters. Her carefully chosen models danced to disco tunes while wearing 70’s inspired jumpsuits, floral-printed dresses and sequined evening pants. Collections have been shown in the midst of a dinner party and even in the form of a portrait collection. No matter the setting, Fall/Winter is shaping up to be swoon worthy with everything from cool bomber jackets to lady like coats to rich winter florals and I, for one, cannot wait until these pieces hit stores come next fall.
