San Antonio women in technology came together at the Microsoft store at the Shops at La Cantera to discuss the Power of Women in the Workplace & Work/Life Balance. Keynote speakers Debra Innocenti, lawyer for technology and internet-related industries, Marina Gavito, Executive Director at Tech Bloc, and Bridget Thrun Store Manager Microsoft store La Cantera gave their advice and expertise regarding the challenges women may face in the workplace.techbloc1

The panel answered questions like, “How do you handle work/life balance?” and “How do you ensure women get fair salaries?” The audience consisted of women with tech related jobs and pursuits.TECH2

The Microsoft Store & Aveda Team collaborated as sponsors for the event by providing the famous Aveda Tea, hand and neck massages and a quick tutorial on “How to Stay Zen in the Workplace.”
