Crystal Gonzales 

Assistant Director, Plan Review Division

Crystal Gonzales is originally from Alvin, Texas, and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2004 with a degree in Civil Engineering. She has called San Antonio her home for the last 17 years. During her time in the private industry, Crystal worked on a variety of projects, including the Mission Reach portion of the San Antonio River Improvements Project. 

Crystal followed her calling to the public sector and joined the City of San Antonio Development Services Department in 2011. She is the Assistant Director of the Plan Review Division and oversees 95 staff who issue permits and perform plan reviews for all residential and commercial projects within the city limits.

Crystal has a passion for assisting the community with their development projects and solving problems for people.
