When Dr. Tiffany Winburn joined 7 to 7 Dental in 2009, there were only six employees and four dental chairs. Today, that business has grown to include a staff of 240 employed at seven locations throughout San Antonio with an eighth office opening in December across from The Forum on IH-35 at Loop 1604.
Dr. Winburn, who became a partner in 2010, credits the success of 7 to 7 Dental to building the practice around the patients’ busy lifestyles, knowing they often can’t take time off during normal work hours or just too busy with other commitments, such as school, during the day yet need to see a dentist. This is why 7 to 7 Dental is open extended hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. 7 to 7 Dental also offers an affordable dental coverage option for those without dental coverage or those that would like more coverage than they are currently offered. 7 to 7 Dental provides same-day walk-in service for people experiencing an emergency or who can’t get an appointment to see their regular dentist. “We try and make it as easy as possible for our patients to be seen, especially if they have a dental emergency.” Dr. Winburn said.
In addition to routine dental care, 7 to 7 Dental offers orthodontic services for people of all ages, including Invisalign for those who have metal sensitivity or don’t want to wear traditional braces. A free consultation is included. “We like to see kids around 7 or 8 although the vast majority of kids at that age aren’t ready for braces,” Dr. Winburn said. “But there are a few conditions that if we catch them at that time can be fully corrected or might require surgery later. So we like to see them early.”
Having been in practice for more than two decades, Dr. Winburn, a mother of two who also speaks fluent Spanish, continues to find her job rewarding because of the support the San Antonio & Cibolo communities have shown.
