Chief of Police, The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA)


Stephanie Schoenborn serves as Chief of Police at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). She joined UTSA PD in 1993, becoming a police officer in 1995. For two decades, Schoenborn served in Patrol Operations, Training, Quartermaster, Fleet Services, and Investigations. In 2016, she was promoted to Captain and, in April 2021, was named Interim Chief. She was elevated to the rank of Chief of Police in February 2022. A two-time UTSA alumna, Schoenborn is dedicated to developing greater community partnerships and involvement.
